I know. That's why I like living outside the city - I don't know anybody else with more than a few square metres of yard space, let alone a massive lawn surrounded by trees like this one. And the rent is stupidly low. I'm aware of how lucky I am to live somewhere like this, and I appreciate it on a daily basis. It looks a lot less bleak in colour :)
The council have just built a car park on the other side of the hedge though, which ain't so hot. And you can't see the pylons from this angle either..

probly won't come up this w/e btw. i will tho as soon as i have some space to put stuff that i can take away (and get paid so i can aford the petrol)
Norm, you should see the place - we've cleared the nettles, and the brambles, we've dug and planted flower beds/pots, installed habitats, sown a wildflower meadow and, best of all, we've made a big mound covered in turf halfway down the garden. The Mound Rules. 'course, the longer you leave it before coming back, the better it will look :)
