I'm Steve; i enjoy taking poor quality pictures in large quantities, and so here they are...
looks like it's working then :)
yay! the text i added hasn't appeared on this attempt, but i'll have another go shortly... lol
i'm sending these as mms via email now as you've probably noticed so do you know of a way to get the text to show up? I'm using a Nokia 6230.. :)
I've just had a look, and it seems that O2 take your text, put it in a text file an attach it to your email as an attachment. They replace your chosen text (in the MMS, not in the attachment) with the following:
"This is a Media Message from O2. Please visit http://www.o2.co.uk to see current offers and learn more about O2 Media Messaging. You cannot reply to this email message."
Which the site removes automatically, so that's why no text appears on your messages.
I wasn't aware O2 were doing this, it might be tricky to fix, but I'll have a think about it and see what I can do. As an interim solution, if you can use the email client on your phone (if it has one) rather than MMS, that's usually cheaper, and the text should work too. I've got an smtp server you can use to send through if you need one, but it only lets you send to moblg.net, nowhere else. (an open mail server on the internet would be SpamCentral in hours)
how about allowing the body to be defined in the subject line? :)
So interesting site, thanks!
