Argent was being insistent.

For some reason, Argent has decided he MUST sit on me. Now. Immediately.

He weighs approximately the same as a small walrus. But he's cute.

Precious.

Thanks. :) Though apparently it's your ipod what brings all the boys to the yard. ;)

Give the cat a chance.

OOO.See *THERES an idea.

Cat calendar.

The Cats of MoblogUK 2006.

Helen says:

It's such a long way off, 2006. Hmpf.

But there are plenty of cats to fill a calendar or 100.

bronxelf says:

True, but we could get the best 12 catsshots. I think April's should be the one Len Corby posted of him flipping his cat the bird, in honor of the AntiCatblogging Revolution.

Helen says:

That was a mighty fine cat. It didn't care one bit.

5th Apr 2005, 01:09

bronxelf says:

I still think it's now plotting to kill him in his sleep.

Very nice shot. I love the graininess. Something about the shot has a pre-Raphaelite look.

bronxelf says:

I don't know what got into him last night, but something upset him and he wanted me to hang onto him a while. weird cat.

5th Apr 2005, 13:44

Euphro says:

The sense of his mass does come across in the pic. Big neck. Is he a particularly large breed, like a Maine coon, or any breed at all :)

5th Apr 2005, 13:55

bronxelf says:

not unless "Lazy California Walrus" has become a recognized breed. He also has very small feet.
He was a rescue kitten from a shelter in Ventura, CA.

5th Apr 2005, 14:23

Euphro says:

Does he have a dark bushy tail?

5th Apr 2005, 14:28

bronxelf says:

not especially, no. Not bushy, at least. I can get a photo of his tail I'm sure.

5th Apr 2005, 16:21

Euphro says:

He looks very cuddly, if heavy.

5th Apr 2005, 16:53

bronxelf says:

He's mostly body mass. Not so much in the brains department.

5th Apr 2005, 17:06

Euphro says:

In some ways, that's better. Smart cats can be trouble. We had one that, to wake you up in the morning, would progressively nudge the alarm clock towards the edge of the bedside table, watching you at each nudge, until you leapt up just in time to catch it fall (or it crashed to the floor): "oh, you're up. How about some food now..."

bronxelf says:

Putz and Mallomar were geniuses. Hilfy and Hydrox are certainly the smart ones now. Argent was always sort of a dim bulb (though nothing is dimmer than Cassiusdrow's cat Baine) and Boo is almost 18, so really he's just kinda coasting.

Our cat, Charlie, got himself trapped in a laundry hamper. Funny, it looked kitty friendly when he jumped into it...Jumping out was another question altogether...(being a cat of very little brains....)
