I am a female, carbon based lifeform.
I am a New York City Native.
I am a Design Professional.
I take photographs.
I also sculpt, paint, create mosaics, and play with weapons.

And sometimes, I even dance about Architecture.

What I see, is what you get.

You're not the first person to tell me my eyes creep them out. Not even this week.

3rd Apr 2005, 22:51

bronxelf says:

Thanks, Helen. I was much younger then.

3rd Apr 2005, 22:52

Helen says:

Eyes don't change all that much.

3rd Apr 2005, 22:56

bronxelf says:

You don't think so? I think they do. It's subtle, but it's there. At least it feels that way.

3rd Apr 2005, 23:08

Helen says:

I think the way you use them, the looks you give, remain similar.

3rd Apr 2005, 23:17

bronxelf says:

True enough-- that look is pretty standard around here.

3rd Apr 2005, 23:23

Ladygarden says:

For some reason, there's a very 80s look about your eyes (no pun intended!)

3rd Apr 2005, 23:43

bronxelf says:

There was a very 80's look to the whole photo.

Show us! show us! ;-)

I saw a pic of Suzi Quattro today. Same kind of ring to it :-)

bronxelf says:

I usually get Joan Jett.

Euphro says:

You can tell a lot about a person from their eyes. I like what I have seen :)

4th Apr 2005, 12:51

bronxelf says:

I was very young then. Not quite so much now.

4th Apr 2005, 14:57

Euphro says:

I wasn't talking particularly about that pic :)

4th Apr 2005, 14:57

Lyzardly says:

The full version of that pic reminds me of Angelina Jolie in Gia. :)

4th Apr 2005, 15:15

bronxelf says:

I've heard that also.

4th Apr 2005, 15:17

beth says:

i see the jolie thing.. but you have much nicer lips,

4th Apr 2005, 16:02

bronxelf says:

I just dont know that I even look like that at all anymore, honestly. the eyes are mine but the rest of the face doesnt look like me.

4th Apr 2005, 16:03

beth says:

you should reenact the pose so we can decide!

4th Apr 2005, 16:06

bronxelf says:

No that's just *depressing* I'd look way old. *LOL*

4th Apr 2005, 16:09

beth says:

aw from the pics i seen you still look spritely enough

4th Apr 2005, 16:11

bronxelf says:

I haven't busted out the cane and the walker yet, but Im not 20 anymore, either.

4th Apr 2005, 16:12

Euphro says:

Nothing wrong with that :)

4th Apr 2005, 16:14

bronxelf says:

No. 20 wasn't so great anyway, except for the modeling.

4th Apr 2005, 16:17

Euphro says:

20 wasn't great for me either, and I didn't get to do any modelling. Pirate radio (a very brief career) was as close as I got to glamour :)

4th Apr 2005, 16:18

bronxelf says:

I've done a lot of modelling over the years. I was in the darkroom a couple weeks ago watching some models work. My professor says "Didn't you use to be a model?"
"You wanna go out there and have them shoot you for a while?"
"Manny? You couldn't PAY me enough."

He laughed.

4th Apr 2005, 16:21

Euphro says:

Based on what anathemad has said in some recent comments (re the pictures of you from DC), maybe you should have taken him up on his offer :)

5th Apr 2005, 10:00

bronxelf says:

No. Those days are over. I have lost a lot of weight in the past six months (over 17 lbs), but I don't miss being in front of the camera all the time.
