There's a little bridge over by the sluice-thing, next to the lake. It's decorated with these big stone urn-y things.

(That's what that style is called.) It's originally modelled after acorns. Common in both the 19thc., as a revival style, but originally quite English and goes way, way back to the Tudors.

Glad all that design school education hasn't gone to waste. :)
