bronxelf says:

Oh see? Where was this when I did my last design project...

Helen says:

You're going to make Wakefield literary?

2nd Apr 2005, 12:04

Joe says:

I have a short story that would fit that is of course, in my head and waiting to be typed...
[edit superb pic BTW]

neel says:

Thanks Joe. Pretty pleased with it myself. The power of reflection!

2nd Apr 2005, 13:35

Helen says:

Same with all my short stories Joe.

Helen says:

And that novel.

bronxelf says:

Helen: No. My last project was to design a retail store filled with cyberpunk geekery. If you're on a fast connection, the project is on the web.

Helen says:

Unfortunately I am on dial-up. No broadband here, no gas, no cable tv.

2nd Apr 2005, 18:44

bronxelf says:

Deat lord. You have an electric stove?

2nd Apr 2005, 18:46

McN says:

It's positively Neolithic in Yorkshire ... snigger ( says she who has had Broadband for ooh at least a week ...)

2nd Apr 2005, 18:47

Helen says:

Alas! Yes.

So, so slow. I eat salad. Doesn't need any cooking.

2nd Apr 2005, 18:47

neel says:

It must be terrible living out in the sticks.

[ neel looks around himself. neel sees lots of sticks ]

Helen says:

Yes, my roof is made of moss.

bronxelf says:

Hell, I don't have cable (I gave up tv in 9/03 in disgust over the hype over the 9/11 anniversary), but at least I have a gas stove! That would make me nuts, the electric stove thing.

However, yeah, the project was a 800 square foot retail outpost which sold cyberpunk geekery. I'd have gladly used this photo in the design book had it been around at the time.

bronxelf says:

It's already up. It's *been* up for weeks. If you have a fast connection, the design book is Here, in pdf format. There's also three additional images I'd have to link to as well... uh...
and here.

Be advised that .pdf is not a small file. The jpg's arent large but the PDF is about 19mb.

bronxelf says:

Thanks. I'm going to tweak it a little bit before fall. Probably two days work-- before I enter it into the design competition.

2nd Apr 2005, 19:25

neel says:

Aw, thanks bronxelf. I had to do something to pass the time in the bus station last night, and playing with reflections was fun.

Tonight's Doctor Who was good. A couple of things about the direction they're going concern me as a fanboy of old, but it was good.
