Ah, the thrill of going to school in a building with it's own stained-glass cupolas!

Thanks, Joe!

Helen says:

Bit different to UEA, that.

Yay to the handing-in/getting-rid of work.

Joe says:

from what I remember UEA is a skateboarders paradise....

Helen says:

Yes, it is.

It's just like the National Theatre.

I love the National Theatre.

Apparently, they do plays, too.

The rest of the campus is fairly grungy 60's concrete. In a sculpture park. So it's swings and roundabouts, really.

Helen says:

Plays? Gosh.

They have Moores littering up the place at UEA too. And this fancy building with some art type stuff.

Joe says:

I remember walking in the grounds of UEA with 3 of my friends and saying...is that a Henry Moore?...and they all looked at me like I was some kind of overcultured yuppie...

15th Mar 2005, 12:54

Helen says:

They have them in Leeds too, don't they?

15th Mar 2005, 12:57

neel says:

We have a bunch of Moore's here, yes.

15th Mar 2005, 14:51

Joe says:

theres one in front of the henry moore institute...strangely :)
this was before I lived in Leeds though, I think it demonstrates the level of cultural appreciation that my friends at the time had, more than anything....
