Why not go and see Dancing In The Streets, installed in St Helen's Square next to Cafe Nero, 16 Davygate, York Y01 8RJ. It activates after nightfall, and is completely free.

You might want to wear warm clothing, but remember that the system picks up body heat mainly from your hands and face.

Helen says:

Why not? Hmm I can't dance.

neel says:

Not sure, exactly, but it's there for a good while. It's a bit awkward that it only works after dark but I think it's meant more for local people.

The system cycles between different interactions every few minutes, so there's a lot to play with.

Helen says:

Is it going to different places?

neel says:

Not that I know. This is more of an installed installation than some of their other projects.

Keep an eye on KMA's website. There's also a little bit here.
