Sink Update!

Here's the latest from the sink o' doom.

The cleaning ladies came this morning (we're live in Uni accommodation). I was very apologetic about the state of things inside of and around the sink, and told them we'd get those responsible to deal with it. Now the around-sink area is cleaner, but the bowl still has some terrible, terrible things in it.

The pyrex bowl in the top pic has something like custard still liberally coating its insides, which occasionally breaks off and floats elsewhere, then gets stuck in the drain.

The other shot is of something odd that's in the sink: it looks a little bit like stuffing such as one might get with a roast. I'm really hoping it's not, but I can't think what else looks quite so odd and clumps together in such a horrible way.

Also note the edge of a sponge-with-Brillopad-thing in the sink. I'm of the opinion that the tools of washing-up should be kept near but not in the sink itself. Harrumph.

If the sink's empty (as it should be) it shouldn't really matter where the cleaning tools are kept.

Those students aren't hungry enough, that's their problem.

They are bad.

When I was in halls we had a girl with OCD, so our sink never looked like that.

Well, that must have been a mixed blessing. Funnily enough we were talking about OCD just yesterday.
