Good photos. B+W is great! The first one made me think of your dove landing photo.

I've still not got round to going to the Saatchi Gallery and I just haven't got round to it yet.

Must make more of an effort next time we make a trip to London.

Thanks. These were taken with my Proper digital, which does a lovely black and white (800 asa emulation, so nice and crisp)

Hmmm, must look at the manual for my camera, I'm sure it must do loads of clever stuff, but I just use it as a point and click.

I never read manuals, at first. After a few weeks playing with something it's nice to discover the things that I somehow missed..

My digital camera does loads of crazy stuff, it's why I bought it. All my other cameras tend to be mechanical (see my sidebar for an example) : )

Does anyone read the manuals first?

Even my wife, who is a total technophobe, will pull stuff out of the box and start messing with it before looking at the instructions.

Yeah, it's nice.. It's about 1/3 lifesize, but incredibly detailed. There's more, they're really spooky little things. Including one that's a cast from his father's corpse. I've got some more photos of them somewhere, I'll dig them out.

facto and I really wanted to see the saatchi gallery. read the guide, checked it out on the net, and spent an hour wandering around looking for it. security guard finally told us, oh, they moved...
