My Pet Hate: is TUESDAY, everything that has ever gone wrong in my life has happened on a TUESDAY! I hate it, it's now my day off so that i don't have to face the world! Don't make me have to suffer TUESDAY by asking me about it!!! I also dislike girls who drink pints, smoke and generally act like men!!

touching and weird at the same time - like that last one with the cuddly toys in the background too. Nice little series.

mat says:

I doubt there are many crimes against humanity going on at HLS. Crimes against animality, maybe, but I don't think they've got as far as testing on humans..

I respect people like this for their determination, but I also despair somewhat at their misguidedness. Animal testing is amazingly hard to get a license for these days, especially in this country, and it's only ever done where there is no alternative. Testing makeup on the eyes of puppies is sick, and is wrong, and very much worthy of protesting - and that's why it's illegal these days.

But ask this guy whether he would rather his daughter die, or a few bunnies die to make a drug that saves her life. Or, to put it another way - which is more humane - killing 100 dogs in the process of (say) making a vaccine for malaria; or, not doing that, and letting hundreds of thousands of humans die?

What Mat says.

I guess this is Staples the stationery store? So he has a beef because the company supplies office equipment and consumables to HLS? I very much doubt it would be the Aberdeen branch anyway :D

Nice series of shots..

WTF has Staples got to do with HLS??
Just that they are suppliers of stationary to HLS?
Will he be protesting outside the local water company next week? Electricity suppliers beware!
Who built that road that runs past HLS? Boo to them too!

I agree with Mat.

This guy is obviously a seasoned protester as he appears to have taken his own protesting chair with him - gotta watch that dodgy back on a protest!
