you're a one off and a wonderful original. As for the photos, I'll not even hazard a guess

They are all the same. And my God, getting a passport-style photo taken is hard work these days. These wouldn't pass muster for a passport according to the machine. I think it's the suggestion of a smile and hair near my eyes.

Nige, thank you. I'll drop you a line.

i'm pretty sure you can pass with these. the hair isn't in your eyes it's the same level as my fringe and that was allowed. as long as your whole head is visible and there's no distractions over your eyeballs you're ok. that's a natural smile too it's not too massive.

OJ says:

Perhaps you're right. They're not for a passport anyway - and the photo booth had a big warning that said they wouldn't pass.

I don't agree!! They'd pass and you'd look gorgeous. Having just acquired a passport for dan for germany I like to think I'm in the know

Thanks. You're definitely off to Berlin then? Lucky you.

Tell me what you think. I suspect I won't get to go until next summer when my brother gets married in the general vicinity.

Well definitely doesn't leave much scope for missing planes, trains etc but YES! We booked our tickets from leeds bradford for 99p each way to hamburg, staying one night in hamburg and then catching the train for 4 nights in berlin (hopefully with a quick day trip to poland). I'm excited, it's our first holiday together really (we've been away in england with family but not just the two of us). Have also booked our accomodation in berlin but am still umming about which hotel in hamburg. Exciting. And I will tell you all about it.
