This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

Another picture where all is not what it seems.

Great title. Reminds me of a ride I went on at a show:)

Dhamaka says:

Sprocket - let's just say there are several reflections in it
Thank you Jigalong! Two big compliments in a week :D

Cannot for the life of me work out what I'm seeing here (too small phone screen squint)
But I'm sure it's lovely, knowing you.

Dhamaka says:

Thank you Joker!
Feet, forest, sky, several different sets of traffic lights and road signs, rain and a car dashboard.... and it's night.... many are reflections, some are not...

JokerXL says:

I'm so glad I asked, would never have known otherwise and my life poorer for it.

MaggieD says:

Could only be you :) .....

taniwha says:

I like it ... doesn't quite make sense to me ... but like it. Oh, and it makes my feet feel cold.

26th May 2008, 21:02

Dhamaka says:

thank you - and thank you mystery Highlighter - was it you Mandy?

The feet are a reflection, they're resting on the dashboard which is also a reflection. The treeline and some of the traffic lights are not reflections, most of the traffic lights and the traffic signs (including the roundabout signs to the left and on the reflection of my toe) are results of a reflection from the passenger-side side mirror that was bounced again on the passenger-side window to the windscreen glass. Think that's it..

Mandy. says:

It was me. :)

thank you!

JokerXL says:

Big screen again now, Oh those toesis!
So, what we think is a reflection, ie the traffic lights etc, is in fact the direct image and the feet/dash are the reflection.
Got it, I think.

I sent you one from Maui! Love the blue polish~ Had a grand time next year UK for sure!!!

29th May 2008, 17:15

Dhamaka says:

Caine - I do indeed and thank you
midlife - on top of the car? I mean.. obviously I wasn't driving since it's quite difficult to operate the pedals if your feet are on the dash, but... on top?

I saw it - them - evilminkie... just make sure I'm in the country when you are here!
