Craft - You could be right; the quince bit is the "chaenomeles" but the "superba" is just my best guess. It might be a japonica - will have to go back when the fruits are ripe to know for sure...

Pleased it pleases. Tried B/W Facto - thought the branches & shadow might work but it was a bit lumpy. Probably because it's a cropped detail - the original had too many bits of tv aeriel, telegraph pole, street sign & whatnot - it looked less like a cathedral close & more like the superstructure of a naval frigate...
