"Do you realise that every blade of grass is a different shade of green?" - from My Voice Will Go With You
Almost "dinner is served" :)
Ye gods! Have never seen a Spitz hunt successfully before. Too much time with Elvis...
just need to teach him to grab them closer to teh head...
surely he just caught it so he could pose for the camera? smart kid.
nooOOoo, not the bunny! run Fiver, run!
I saw him take it, but didn't have time to get my camera. It was impressive - he can properly shift when he wants to, especially over short distances (about 10m in this case) - and he's had a lot of practice chasing down tennis balls.
Not to mention that at this time of year the bunnies are young, stupid and most of all, plentiful. :)
Hopefully he'll do better next time.
Bandit the mighty hunter sez "Dayum, son, you got skillz!" :) He's come close to that size a few times (pigeons, mainly) but his specialty is the small rodents - reckon as the warm weather gets here he will take care of any rodents problems we have here.
I'm with Mandy, let the bunny bun go free.
Crivens! Neela never catches anything and she's bred for it. Wee Lemmy..
Lemmy's just doing what comes naturally. that rabbit is not going to loll around anymore when a Lemmy comes round.
he'll soon be leaving you "presents"
Blimey, fantastic - My old dog Charlie only ever caught one baby rabbit, despite being a mix of greyhound and lab...
Save the bunny....
... save the world?
I love how innocent and nonchalant he looks with his mouth full of bunny.
Meanwhile, the bunny looks like it's about to have a heart attack!
I love this photo! Skadi keeps chasing and grabbing the neighbor's small poodle. I wonder what she'd do with a rabbit or a squirrel.
My Australian Shepherd wont give serious chase to anything but the house cats.
