Oh dear, oh dear... hope she wasn't actually eating the cat presents. She has very Lab looks & heaven knows why, but they're famously coprophagic. Do hope she doesn't get a taste for litter treats; my mum's last Lab had to be muzzled whenever he went out or he'd eat every bit of spraint, fewment & general nastiness he could find.
Good job we loved him, mucky pup that he was.
I've got to stop at the hardware store on my way to work tomorrow. We've been saying we were going to get a 4" hook and eye to prop open the cat room door but prevent the dog from being able to get in. Since she's hit the litter box *and* the cat dishes this evening already, I must fix this tomorrow.
Am I anthropomorphising her too much if I say she's looking thoroughly guilty in this shot?
No - not at all. She's very quietly sitting under my chair, and only following me around. She definitely knows she's in trouble.
Those lab eyes are a killer. Calli will turn them on when she is in trouble. She did get into the litter box, we just kept on top of her and thank goodness she gave it up. Gonna add you to my friends list K?
I remembered the baby gate that my MIL gave us - it's now across the door to the cat room.
