hello, my name is al. i make music by myself and with a band called the fictive kinship. i work in an office in london on railway related stuff and cycle to work every day. i love cooking, swimming and riding my bike all over london. i try to eat well, write good songs and not drink too much. i don't always succeed.

tugs in the fog

i like it when a big ship is bringing a load into the dock here at blackfriars the tugs run up and down all day dragging barges up past the bridge and doing giant u-turns. then they moor half of the barges just outside my window while they unload the first lot then come back for the rest.

I'm a few floors up from you (i think). I always wondered what was in the yellow containers, than when I found out it was just rubbish I was a bit disappointed!
