when i worked at safeway years ago, easter eggs came out onto the shelves the day after boxing day. it's just wrong.

It makes all our festivals blur and makes it difficult to see them as season specific milestones and celebrations. Easter feels like a celebration of spring not late winter.

Nice daff though ... ours haven't flowered yet though I wonder if we will see them poking through a covering of snow before the end of Feb
