Really, really like - You've caught its quality as a beacon of hope for a weary traveller in the Dark Peak. Haven't been to Edale for a while but it used to be a case of using the phone box, or walking up Saddleback until you could pick up a mobile signal from Castleton...

Thanks guys - my girlfriend's parents house is right next to this just past the start of the Pennine Way.

It does look very much like a rescue beacon at night. Especially when it's quite so dark as it is in the country.
