Jiminy!
Wow, that's cool.
Did yours not come with a memory card?
is that an SD-size adaptor for it?
crikey M2 is a tiny format..
amazing init... i have 2Gb in my phone but it all fits on to that tiny little thing! :)
I've seen them up to 6Gb - I need to start live blogging a lot more so I can justify getting myself one for Christmas :)
The M2 cards are mega tiny and wonderful. Big size in such a small space is useful.
Yes, K, my 'phone came with 512 MB, which is quite generous, but I always like to have plenty of space and flash is currently cheap :)
mat, that's a memory stick pro duo adapter, which is pretty much SD-sized :)
On the k800 I filled it only once and there was a total of just over 600 files on a 512 card and that was with Fine quality and 3MP. Will see how many it takes to fill the the 512 card with this one but I suspect it'll be a similiar amount.
I've got a couple of those for my D80
K, I like to stick a few MP3s on there as well :)
D, doesn't the D80 take SD memory?
*goes to check...
yes, you're right - so I don't. Not yet managed to fill my 1gig phone one anyway
I really must do a backup of my sd card I have a shedload of pics on there
I never managed to fill my 1 gig card on my old 'phone with pics but I did have about half a gig of music. I went through a phase of leaving all the pictures on it, but it got very slow to page through them and I got worried about losing them. I now clear them off every few days to the PC :)
Ahh, I don't keep music on mine. I've got my Shuffle for that.
I always forget to back them up. But I figure all the good ones are posted here and/or Flickr anyhow so I have backups of a sort.
Yeah but the backups on here are low res

The ones on Flickr aren't though.
Just by the by, I've noticed a big improvement in picture save speed (about three times faster) with this new card. A quick search suggests that the SE-provided 512 MB ones have low write speeds.
I swapped my sandisk one that I had for the K800 that I'd bought into the K850 and the save time is massively better. So there s definately something to the different cards.
