Taniwha - it's not as if it has any intrinsic beauty or anything but it's hard not to be impressed by it, especially when you start to ponder on how it was made. The profile of the walls and the wire embedded in them suggest that it wasn't created in situ; I think they must have cut a channel and dropped it in, but it's a puzzle how they've done it so seamlessly. The really interesting thing is watching how people react to it, though.
In liking it as a concept, I seem to be in the minority.

I like it too, Jane, mostly because it makes people act strangely. It's cleverly executed, too.
The focus is a result of the fish-eye lens - massive depth of field.
