Needed Ibuprofen today and the the local shop only had Nurofen.
Normally I pay about 50p, today I paid ?2.99 for 12!!!! ?2.49 for
Sucrose seems pretty steep to me. Maybe I'm missing something but I
don't think that I am.

I used to avoid all kinds of pills and medication, and I still believe that sleep is the best fix. But if you want to get on with your life, a couple of Ibuprofen can work wonders

Power of a brand means you can wrack up teh price because people follow what they know, I think that Ibuprofen was originally marketed as Nurofen. I think that when the patent expired different versions could be sold including Ibuprofen.
