I was pretty happy to not hear much of Light Grenades (Anna Molly, Oil and Water, Kiss to send us off) but loads of their old(er) stuff (Wish you were here, Megalomaniac, Beware! Criminal, Pistola, Drive, Circles, Just a Phase, 11 am, Vitamin, Favorite Things...).
Good gig, happy Jule!

Yeah I was surprised how little of Light Grenades they played...maybe they know that their fans aren't too keen on it. I mean, there's some GREAT songs (mainly the ones you mentioned, as well as Love Hurts)...but it's not a GREAT album start to finish like their others.

I was also a little disappointed at the set length - 1hr 15mins for a band that has 6 full length albums and a couple of EPs etc. is pretty poor I thought.

Fingers crossed the next one is a return to form!

Wish you were here is old? Damnit. Doesn't that make you feel old? But then again my music taste sort of changed around about morning view.

well, that must have been about six years ago.

all the little kids at the concert made me feel old- not the music.

though.. when i went to see them which was around about 2001, I would've been the little kid to the s.c.i.e.n.c.e fans!

James says:

It's all relative, but once you hit 23/34 you're aloud to be a snob about the 'kids' in the front row. Music snobbery rules!
