Take panels off, leave for a day or two in a warmish place. Turn on, try not to be too anxious.

I got beer split on my old phone, was b0rked for about a week but after a good dry it was fine again (although the slide action was a bit gummy)
Just plain water shouldn't be a big problem, just give it plenty of time to dry.
