Not posed. I got a lucky shot.

fantastic capture then - even to the position of her hand and arm

fantastic shot anyway

Thank you. I saw her walking around the room and just stayed in one spot, hoping she'd look at something and I could catch her in time. If her body were facing the camera *just a hint more* you could see the large crucifix she had on.

I was really happy about it. It's rare I get good shots that contain people.

People, as you well know, just aren't my thing.

With photography as well as life sometimes, you can make your own luck. You had the good sense to watch and wait for her - that's photographic skill.

It's a very intense shot. Great capture. Yes patience is a skill

Thanks very much. I got a few good shots of people that day, which is unusual for me. I don't really have an eye for people.

Well just proven yourself wrong for our benefit

bronxelf says:

Though I'm probably getting a little better through practice, I don't think I'll ever have an eye for people. But it's good to know I'm getting a little better. There's a couple of other candid shots I got that day that were successful also.
