I wash it and let it dry naturally it goes like a lions mane
I dry it with a hairdryer it goes into an even bigger lions mane.

Yuck!

I have the same type of hair. Dunno if it's available near you but there is a product called Pureology ShineMax (Look under Hydrating System) that works very well - you put 2-3 drops in your hair while it's wet, then another drop or two once it's dry. Serious frizz reduction. Take a look around, better salons might carry it, and if you can't find it or something like it you want let me know, I'll pick up a bottle and ship it over. :)

:O Its Lovely! Tho I guess no one really like what they have.
Mine is so straight it won't even do the slightest wave even with with a can of moose and a crap load of scrunching - yeah my mum has pretty much go a white persons afro!!!

ha! I was just saying to my mate Nodda the other day "I am sick of my hair. It is a lions mane. I am not a freakin' lion!"

Straight people are a-scrunchin' like White Fluffy Clouds says above. Us wavy, frizzy folk are using straightening irons like mofos....

HELL funny!!

disconcert says:

aw vid, you're so lucky. mine's another one of those horrible straight ones, and it's so thick that weight just leaves it so flat. I wish I had some natural wave in it!

Why do we all hate our own hair? This looks glorious. People come up to me and say what great hair, and all I want is red explosive hair, sort of like Geo's.

maybe we should love what we got.

I think it looks cool. I tend to agree with you though sr, people generally don't like their own hair. It's taken me a long time to like my hair, but for the most part these days, I like it.

Yours is a great colour though, a really nice silvery white, which I hope mine continues to go :)

Thanks hugely, I take that as a big compliment and I'm glad you felt that way. Next time you guys come over you'll have to stay longer :)

Sorry from me too vid, for hijacking your post.

I *heart* Hair says:

I think it's just a case of people not liking what they have! i used to be the same, I also have semi-wavy hair and people always commented on how nice and "bouncy" the waves looked, but i hated them. Now though, i like my hair, because if i want it curly, it isn't much effort as i'm half-way there and the same goes for if i want it straight, if you have a semi wave you got the best hair, i reckon, well, that's if you like changing yo' style.

p.s. i think your hair looks nice, also, it looks pitch black, which I think is nice and different :)

p.p.s. try using frizz-ease products, the leave-in conditioner does wonders for lioness hair :)
