your memory is here and I'd like it to stay...
I hate those, but if you're lucky, you should be able to get it fixed rather than have to buy a new tyre.
I found the best way to deal with those was to leave them in, and fill the tyre with tyreweld.
:(
the tyre probably needs replacing anyway, hasn't got much life left.
It was flat as a pancake :( hopefully kwik fit mobile will come to my rescue cos it ain't going nowhere.
heh, from your board thumbnail I thought this was just a tiny stone, and was going to have a moan about the pains of living on a gravel driveway and having about 10000000 of them in my tyres. and then when you drive it's ALWAYS all clackety clackety clackety, and no matter how much you take them out they always come back. and about how my gravel is *just* the right size, as rob also lives on gravel but his is just too big and doesn't go in the holes.
...but it's a screw, so you can moan legitimately, and not about trivial gravel ;) punctures suck.
hehehe. i'm sorry for your gravel related trials and tribulations sally!
how anyone can moan about the noise created by the tyre/gravel combination is beyond me - where would British Cinema be without that sound? and if you always have gravel wedged in the tread of your tyres, surely it always sounds like you're driving up the driveway to a stately home or something, about to solve a murder which had everyone completely baffled (but you were the only one who knew about the fish)
