For the most part, yes. It's, I think, 15 floors high, with escalators going up from floor to floor in the middle and glass elevators on teh outside of the building. The top few floors are private offices, but the rest is a vast open plan area on every floor.
It was an interesting place to work and visit :)
I must admit that whenever I have passed by it day or night (which is not very often) I do admire it .....
It looks almost out of place in amongst the older buildings, but somehow it fits I think.
I tend to look at it in isolation, looking soley at it's structure etc (silly really as it is obviously part of the whole city landscape) ..... but having said that, I think you are right, it does not look too out of place (definitely not a 'carbuncle') .....
oh yeah, this is one of those buildings that was reviled when built wasn't it. I thought it was groovy.
