This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

"Give, give, give -- what is the point of having experience, knowledge or talent if I don't give it away? Of having stories if I don't tell them to others? Of having wealth if I don't share it? I don't intend to be cremated with any of it! It is in giving that I connect with others, with the world and with the divine."

"The grand show is enternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapour is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls."

Dream lover

midlife says:

i like the theme. it could be anyone... lots of room for imagination too.

Sprocket says:

so, tell me about your dreams . . .

22nd Jul 2007, 20:03

Dhamaka says:

thanks midlife. I nearly just called it 'dreaming' but thought this was better

Sprocket - my current dream is; to get a better lens so that I can take better low light dance shots, to have Lucia free by the end of the year, to get all the sponsorship I need for my Argentina trip and meet a devastatingly sexy, single, intelligent and sensitive multifaceted man who will be secure enough to let me do my own thing / flexible enough to do it with me.

When that's all sorted I'll have world peace, a way to get the bumble bees back, universal justice and a pain-free sustainable way to decrease global fragility.

Lovely photo, D.

Skirting round the tougher bits of your Christmas list, I'm intrigued by the low light problem: what lens are you using now? What are you after? (Err... that's not an offer to buy you one for Christmas, by the way!)

23rd Jul 2007, 20:38

Dhamaka says:

thank you chocolate and hari

hari - just the kit lens I got with the D80, a DX 18-135 I believe. Don't know what I'm after yet, I'm still learning what the stuff I've got can do.
