It started in Oldbury with the strange blue/grey clouds at the train
station. Then it just as I reached Wolverhamptom it got all dark and
foreboding and shortly afterwards the heavens opened...

:-D Thank you!!

You would have laughed to see me take it...

It is the "pond" in my garden (please read flooded patio area)

I was lying on my front with the back door open with an umbrella jammed in the frame and me leaning over the step trying to keep the camera dry going click* click* click*...i have probably 30+ photos of ripples and water and out of focus smudges!

The blonde kid wondered into the kitchen at one point, sat down next to me, shook his head and wandered off again!

Lovely shots, but I'd swap your rain for our hazy, hot 'n' humid rubbish any day!

26th Jun 2007, 03:08

Essitam says:

no Sharon not this rain you wouldn't. 3 people have already died in floods, dams threatening to collapse under the pressure....

....and closer to home Tame Bridge flooded and the railway station turned into a canal, all trains north of Wolverhampton suffering severe delays and mostly canceled. Victoria Park has completely flooded,

and even closer to MY home my back garden :-(

Man, I feel like crap now. Little sis has been talking about the 'monsoons' but I had no idea it really was that bad. I hope it's over soon.

Essitam says:

Nah don't feel like crap (unless it's for thinking bad of your your lil sis and presuming she was exaggerating) , Just DON'T wish this rain on yourself....

How the hell did I miss this post!?

The second and third are my faves. The lighting on the second one is just superb. The dedication to get the last one though is commendable. :o)
Very nice work.
