James Baldwin
Or, if you prefer:
'"We're all bastards, that's why we need our friends."'
Hello again! Nice to be back - I had no internet connection for a while(lead lined bedroom, apparently) but now I have connectivity and a puppy dog. There's only one response to such a combination!
mat's face published to moblog shocker....quick save a copy before he deletes it.
I know - I just realised that myself. Well, he has the power if he wants to delete ... Oops, was that a gauntlet?
lolness, I did ask him if he knew and he seemed aware. Girlfriend privileges, I believe...
Ok, a clipper lighter for scale is one thing, but when you see him on a person's lap, you really appreciate how tiny he is.
All together now; Awwwwww...
It still makes me giggle, he's so small. And fluffy. Really, really fluffy.
Indeed - how was last night? Is he a brave fluffy little soldier or were your heartstrings rent asunder by whimpering for his mum?
I think it's the one advantage of adult rescue dogs over the insane cute of puppies - they're so unequivocally delighted to be in a house again. ;)
He was really good, actually. I was expecting to have to properly harden my heart, but he was quiet all night and when I came down this morning, he was sitting in his crate, just chilling out. He was pretty convinced I hadn't fed him enough though, so then I did have to harden my heart!
Cute. And how responsible of mat to be teaching him about seatbelts at such a young age.
Ah, the magic crate effect. Makes it so much easier for a small dog to only have a small territory to defend. :)
This little dude is everywhere on the blog :)
Looks a bit like a vox on this page,.. a tumbledried vox,..
this little guy is popping up everywhere
(he who has no name yet - not Mat). Someone could always crop the head off the photo if they want, then we'd still have the baby records which will be important as he grows up
Hmm, I think you all may be suffering from puppy photo overdose by the end of this week! I've got some lovely video, which I'll put up when I get some credit on my phone!
Oh - and he greeted me with two little barks this morning! They grow up so fast ... (and their teeth get sharper each day - ouch!)
He's a bit bigger than I expected, based on other pics I've seen :)
Elvis is bemused, to say the least. When he first encountered me smelling of dog, he gave me the kind of look usually seen on the faces of WI members who've wandered into a sex shop by mistake.
heh. I just had to re-enact what that might look like to imagine it. And then I laughed outloud! wb btw
Hmm, that sounds like challenge, Viv! To be hones, though, he's quite hard to photograph, because if he can see you're taking photos he wants to eat the phone. If he can't see it, it's because he's got his back to you, so you end up with rather graphic photos of his business end (his tail curls over his back, leaving nothing to the imagination!).
