This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

Moblog Meet? Tour de France - London

Great photo op and a pleasant day out. The LCC is arranging special "priority" viewing of the event. There's a Prologue on 7th July and Stage 1 on 8th July.

They actively encourage groups, people new to cycling or unfamiliar with London.

I thought it might be fun to have a group of us go as a moblog meet. If you're interested let me know and I'll set it up on the forums

Excellent idea. I already have plans to go and watch the prologue with friends, but I still might be able to fit something in around that, and I'd definitely be up for anything the day after.

Only saw this a few minutes ago, so I'll ask SLG about it when she gets in to see if we're free that day. I'd like to though :)

24th Jun 2007, 12:01

I just can't see how it would be practical to haul our lot over there, so it's looking like a solo trip for me, but you never know.

24th Jun 2007, 14:57

Dhamaka says:

but it'll be great to meet in person with you - and whoever else can come

Spiderbaby says:

We're going to be in London on the 7th!!! We've got to go to see that our friend's fiance does actually exist, and give Crickson a (somewhat too late) chance to vet him before the big day. Tour de France was mentioned so maybe we'll be able to catch up with you too? Be good to see you anyway :)

24th Jun 2007, 16:01

Dhamaka says:

that's fantastic!
Of course - let me know when you're free and I'll let you know where I/we are!

24th Jun 2007, 16:12

MaggieD says:

Sorry not to post this on the forum, but it doesn't seem to want to log me in :(
I have a free afternoon on the 7th .... so if you can let me know where you will be from 1.00pm onwards (til 6.30pm) .... I can meet up ......
