2 get wet in Wales

Last Friday we went on a camping trip to Wales... Yes last Friday
when we had the really heavy rain. Just before we got into Wales we
were East of Whitchurch and there was a cue of traffic. In front of
the queue was a long puddle, cars were taking it in turns to go
through it and they were all doing well. Then our turn came and when
we were half way through a truck came the other way and pushed a
massive wave into our engine! Needless to say the engine gobbled up
the water and died, leaving us stranded in the middle of a pond. We
had to push the car out and then wait for 3 hours for the recovery
people, whilst waiting the flooding got worse and they closed the
road. Eventually they turned up and towed the mini away, but they did
give us a car on loan and we continued into our holiday...
