This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

"Never to get lost is not to live, not to know how to get lost brings you to destruction, and somewhere in the terra incognita in between lies a life of discovery."

"Give, give, give -- what is the point of having experience, knowledge or talent if I don't give it away? Of having stories if I don't tell them to others? Of having wealth if I don't share it? I don't intend to be cremated with any of it! It is in giving that I connect with others, with the world and with the divine."

"The grand show is enternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapour is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls."

"The bicycle is the most civilised conveyance known to man. Other forms of transport grow daily more nightmarish. Only the bicycle remains pure in heart."

Been counting visitors since some time in August 2008
Aww. Poor little guy. His tail is much too thin. Ace shots, D. It just makes me a bit sad.
He's not early, he's late....
And I agree. Poor thing does look very thin.
OJ - he was at the rubbish bag within minutes of me putting it out
Paintist - Mum feeds him and his friends already
He does not look bad. Foxes near our house are really dirty and hair is falling out. Looks like they have some kind of disease.
He doesn't look unhealthy, you're right
But he looks so undernourished
probably can be quite tame as well unfortunately for him/her
but you are right he probably doesn't get all the food he could get
Looks a bit skinny, but there's no obvious signs of mange. Could be a parent and so all his/her food is currently being passed straight on to the cubs.
BaggieBoy - you tell me...
095 - thank you!
Hotdog - yes. Just underfed
Minkey - very tame, it came forward when I called
Sprocket - I hope so
Have very mixed feelings about urban foxes .... but when we had a vixen and her litter at the bottom of our garden, my heart just melted .....
I have mixed feelings too, but really don't like to think the animals suffer
it's a springwatch phenomenon! lovely to see so many people photographing wildlife :) Good catch
oh my gosh, dhamaka i would be spending all my grocery money on him. the poor dear. thank you for making everyone aware. maybe he needs help healing.ohh i have to scroll down, poor little guy.
He's not that fat but he (or she) isn't that unhealthy and he/she sure knows how to get to the rubbish
