Can I say I am disappointed that I am not blogging from a tornado? No tornado, but the storm was pretty damn good.

Hi J. nothing like a good storm to clear things up. Sadly it is over now and everything is just dripping. I like a good storm.

Jigalong says:

Was there thunder and lightning. or just the rain.

swamprose says:

It was fabulous, lots of thunder and lightning, but I was unfortunately downloading these photos and had my camera tied to the computer. Next time I'll be smarter, and wait.

Jigalong says:

Personally, I think it could have been pretty smart staying inside for this storm :)

I love the swirly angryness of the clouds in the top shot

Spiderbaby says:

Angry is right! They certainly mean business. Very atmospheric.

what are you doing up now? not that I am arguing with it.

9th Jun 2007, 00:21

Viv says:

It's only 20 past twelve not that late! Alan's still out

9th Jun 2007, 00:33

swamprose says:

well, say a big hello to Alan, when he comes in. He was so very nice to meet. Here it is now a sunny evening afer the storm. I think it is kind of incredible that we can talk, and understand over so much distance. xx

Caine says:

Sorry to be so late. Fab series! As someone who has been in a tornado, it's best not to wish them close enough to shoot. ;D

10th Jun 2007, 06:44

swamprose says:

Right you are, Caine, but it was wild and I like it that way. A lot of trees down today, and lots of people up north without electricty.

10th Jun 2007, 06:52

Caine says:

Oy. Sorry to hear about the trees, we had one down recently (and duly blogged). People without electricity is a pain, but at least it isn't winter. ND is pretty good about the power situation, but we've been without enough that "anytime but winter!" is close to a mantra.
