a nice random image to get you started:
i now have a FLICKR page too!
"why would a reviewer make the point of saying someone's *not* a genius? do you especially think i'm *not* a genius? you didn't even have to think about it, did you?"
"monkeys are superior to men in this: when a monkey looks into a mirror, he sees a monkey.”
"i am secretly afraid of animals.... i think it is because of the usness in their eyes, with the underlying not-usness which belies it, and is so tragic a reminder of the lost age when we human beings branched off and left them: left them to eternal inarticulateness and slavery. why? their eyes seem to ask us."
"we've all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of shakespeare. thanks to the internet, we now know this is not true..."
african monkey proverb: "the day the monkey is destined to die, all the trees get slippery."
"i'll buy a bunch of monkeys, dress them up, and make them re-enact the civil war"

i told a funny joke once...
is it still all sinky and muddy?
and are there any froggy frogs there?
really really dry. there's about 3 inches pf water right in the middle. no frogs at all, but evidence of rabbits...
god knows, but it was all icky and yellow.
didn't smell though, which was nice.
Do they have an area for blue or green rubbish? Or is it a "yellow only" area? ;)
i think the rubbish turns yellow when it gets there, whatever colour it was.
540 - i'm afraid this was an exclusive club, only yellow trash allowed. (maybe orange if you knew the bouncer)
para - absolutely, definitely, positively no way is that the case ;)
d - thank you :)
viv - 'tis a bit sad - we used to go up there on our bikes and skip stones and all that kind of malarkey oyu get up to when you're ten, and now its just yucky.
Niice, 8th is my favourite. Weird how rubber goes yellow? Something in the soil?
so, once upon a time it was a pool? there was water? what did horses have to do with it? and finally, why does everything turn yellow?
well it used to be say a small lake.
i think the farmers used it as water for their fields.
i think it is called the horse pool for the reason that i think there was a old tale about a horse that fell in and died (thats what i was told as a very small child) but i think its actually coz they took horses there to let them drink.
oh and i think every thing goes that colour because the soil is quite clayie or peteie or something.
Neat shots. The top one of the well rusted can is really interesting. Too bad the pool has dried up.
