Trip to the American Textile Musuem, this past weekend, was interesting and fun. It also gave a pretty good glimpse into factory life for women. The last picture shows a monument in honor of women who worked in mills (the pigeons were just an added bonus *g*). Middle sign is from where we went to lunch...turned out to be a really good choice and a creative name!

DH and I went there a few years ago - we are members of the Seashore Trolley Museum and the city has one of out streetcars on display, so we went to see that, the heritage trolley line, and I hauled him over to the textile museum. Fascinating place! Next time we go I'll look for the deli too ;)
