Hello and welcome to my moblog. Here are lots of random images from my life at home on the Isle of Lewis and out and about.
The photos are mostly taken with my iPhone 3GS, but I'll also be posting some from my Nikon D80.
You can see more of my photography at my website 58 North Photography.

on this evidence I'm not sure a jury would convict - they are on the other side of a fence! change the heading to "gurned at by cows" perhaps?
But there were lots of them and they were trying to get over the wall to eat the plants in my garden at one point too! And I felt menaced and that's what counts - injury to feelings and all that ;)
careful now, if you lose the case the cows could sue for defamation of character!
Yikes! Look at the one in the front of the top photo.... May God have mercy on us!
But they look so cute in that top shot. I like the picture. I used to be scared of cows but now I quite like them. Don't they shuffle away if you advance eagerly towards them with a camera?
Nah, you've got to be careful of those big buggers. So they run away if you yell at them enough - even the over-enthusiastic ones I met on Arran - but if they ever get organised we're in big trouble. It's like that Pink Floyd song where the sheep retaliate against the dogs: "wave upon wave of demented avengers". Don't let them lull you into a false sense of security.
And as for sheep, don't get me started...
I would love to be able to talk to a cow. Cows must be great philosophers, so much time, just so less to do.
Did they share anything with you in this meeting?
They did the same to me Rachel!
