This is Lightning, our neighbor's drop dead gorgeous American Eskimo
dog. He's a lovely boy and was just back from being groomed so had to
come over and get shown the love. I'll miss him a bit, but he won't
miss us - he thinks JB is tolerable but is completely terrified of Bandit!

It it like an albine hustky?

Well, they are both spitz breeds. American Eskimos are smaller than huskies, not as slender and have a lot more fur. More like a small Samoyed, or a really big white Pomeranian :-).

oooh, they're lovely. I'd like one, but they like a *lot* of exercise. they're very good for agility, and apparently awesome at frisbee.

You're better off with your little Spitz Mat. Eskies are gorgeous but unfortunately have fallen to the AKC top 10 curse of too much over- and in-breeding. Lightning is almost blind due to a problem with his immune system - and he's actually from a good breeder!

I have been looking for a breeder but can't seem to find one. Do you know of any please? Thanks
