I make things on the web, mobile and in the actual world.

I've done lots of bits and bobs over the years, and right now I'm mostly working on this.

I enjoy speaking about things I like, most recently this. You can email me if you'd like, and I'm on twitter.

Quite sad really, once the nonsmoking laws come into effect, shisha smoking will also be banned. I thought theyd be able to call religious rights or something in to counteract it, but apparently not.

Even I am not in favor of draconian smoking bans (or any other tyoe of nanny state-ism). Certainly people who don't like or can't tolerate smoke should be able to avoid it - but by the same token smokers should have places where they can enjoy being in public and enjoy their smoke. It's common sense - I know I have a lung disorder, I know I don't tolerate smoke well, so I stay out of smoky bars and pubs, just like I stay out of parfumeries and candle shops. In environments I can control, I don't allow smoking - which means in my house and car, if you are smoking, expect to be treated as though you are on fire. ;)

Does look well comfy, that sofa - I love a sofa with a nice high back and arms for lounging. :-)

Sorry Alfie, I didn't mean to write a diatribe on your blog, man. It's a bit of a triiger of mine, smoking issues. Feel free to kill it if you want.
