I spend a lot of time looking at plants up close.

Entering the Swamprose Macro Phase. Prepare to be annoyed.

All I need now are growing things, other than moss.

Very nice macro. The bottom shot looks like it may have been taken underwater

swamprose says:

well J, it was cold enough to be underwater. Camera shake with the freezies. When do you head back to the Pilbarra?

Jigalong says:

Hi SR, I think the question your asking is when am I going out into the desert. The answer is not soon enough, maybe week starting 30th April. There have been a few shuffles going on at work, but things should be back to normal soon:)

Mmm.. furry.
Like the flamingos too - in both colourways.
Hm... flamingos derive much of their colour from their diet... Do you think if we put green colourant in their food, we could get a flock of green flamingos?

Helen says:

I reckon so... the possibilities are endless.

Nice flamingoes, swampy.

Very nice :) Moss is such peculiar stuff. All spongy and mysterious.

16th Apr 2007, 13:24

swamprose says:

thanks all, and thank you for the HL.

OJ, they are seedllings in way. Those capsules are sporaphytes, and will release powdery spores that will grow into new moss.

NIGE NIGE--hope I get you before the purchase. One thing bfish didn't tell anyone, and is really important--get a magnifying glass that fits over your lens really well. I think they might sell them at camera stores. Or they should.
