I did fall off! Steep slope, grass and brambles, slippery with dew. I blame Mr FF for taking us off piste.1. Arm v brambles.
2. Swan Lake? Nah, Aire and Calder Navigation Canal
3. View from Kippax towards Swillington
4. The green, green slime of home. We avoid taking this bath, i think this puddle may be radioactive

we set off early Lady P! And you only feel the heat going uphill. A short one today, 19.74 miles.

you cannot and must not blame your husband for falling off your bike, not must you ever blame your bike, becuase a bike can bear a grudge for a very long time and throw you off at the most unexpected and inconvenient moments. You must look deep into your soul for the reason you fell off, and try and redress the imbalance between you and your cycle. and anyway, it's only a few scratches ya wuss! My bike chucked me off one memorable time on the stretch of road between Oulton Church and Methley - I went straight through a hawthorn hedge and got up close and personal with a barbed wire fence on the other side - that took some getting out of!

FilbertFox says:

no it's his fault, i wanted to keep to the main path, but oh no the Mr thought he knew better! Those scratches are the only injuries decency allows me to blog! I know the road well didn't go that way today though. Mr FF didn't like the cars whooshing past on the road from Swillington to Woodlesfood station, but i quite liked getting some speed up.
