Is every day market day, Euphro?
The composition of the stalls changes all through the week, but there is a market there every day. The bread stall is not there every day, for example. Geodyne would probably know better than I exactly when it is there, but Thursday sticks in my mind.
Yes, no doubt. I'll be up to see her in a couple of weeks, thought I'd try and time it to catch the nice bread stall - and reading those signs I could murder a piece of sweet ginger pie for my lunch right now : )
Wonderful series. Open air, great colours, warm with grand scents. And all that food...
zesty lemon pie and all that great bread? asking to be eaten every day?
delicious photos.
their black rye is my favourite in Britain which means the bread stall's there on Saturdays too (or was it a Sunday....)
Mmm, looks delightful! I hope to get to Cambridge one of these days. It is a city I've been wanting to visit for far to long now!
I bought the latest in a long line of Doctor Martin shoes at that market!
That's a useful tip, taniwha :)
Vix, you should come down and see us, once all the studying is done with :)
I missed this photo!!!
That's The Best Bread Stall In The World, and it's there every day but Sunday. They do indeed do a great black rye, but their Campaillou Rye Sourdough and organic wholewheat rye sourdough are also utterly drool-inducing (Gael: I'll make sure we go there when you come down).
...what do you mean, addicted?!
