I make things on the web, mobile and in the actual world.

I've done lots of bits and bobs over the years, and right now I'm mostly working on this.

I enjoy speaking about things I like, most recently this. You can email me if you'd like, and I'm on twitter.

Would make quite a fun photographic project - wander about with a 5.5 foot frame and ask people to stand inside it when you take their photo, then give them a card with the moblog address on it :)
you've been, ahem, framed.

Alfie says:

I'd do it actually, but a frame that size must cost a bit of moolah huh?

unless you get a frame big enough for the to hold over their face?

I like the idea of this project! Have it set up in london/edinburgh/large city/large city?

The face only is practical solution actually D, nice one. Ok, Let's do a new shared moblog. I'll get one set up, and Ill spend a few hours this weekend cruising around London streets framing people. Fair game for anyone of course :)

jiva says:

it wont take much for you to be able to nail a frame together yourself.
or do you have an old one in the house anywhere?
I think it would be nice with quite an ornate frame for portraits. You could even put a stand on it like you do for a microphone.

Cool shot. Spike Lee's documentary, When the Levees Broke, about hurricane Katrina, used the face in a frame theme. At the end of the documentary, everyone who participated held a frame up and said who they were, and what part of New Orleans they lived in. It was a very neat idea.

Bit late, but if you're still planning it, I can get you a basic frame made up and painted.
