SLG's car was seriously overdue some new ones.

Puddlepuff says:

How were the brake disc's doing?

Caine says:

I'll say she was overdue. I like the 2nd shot.

typical heavyfooted women drivers, should use the accelerator as enthusiastically (awaits post-feminist backlash)

Thanks boet and C :)

The pads were totalled, one of them had started to melt at the edge too!! As for the discs, well, they are a little scored but surprisingly not so bad PP.

Para, I guess the ladies must be having a day off as you seem to have escaped the backlash ;)

To be fair to SLG though, she is a very good driver and one of very few women I've come across who can actually handle a car properly.

(Sorry if that last bit sounds chauvinistic to anyone, it's not meant that way at all) :)

I've grown up with brilliant women drivers, both my mum and her twin sister are exceptionally good, this was confirmed for me at age 15, when she showed me how to negotiate a roundabout sideways :)

540air says:

Now that is bloody brilliant!! :D

Now I see why your mum has a love of scoobies.

My mum was the decent driver in our household - comes from being the church organist, I think. Her husband, on the other hand, is a ditherer of the first water, still tries to double de-clutch at moments of stress & seems to drive with his foot on the brake at all times.
Can't cook either.
