SWMBO and I went to the local Harvester for something to eat yesterday.
On the menu it had the following:
The Harvester Bacon Burger
-Flame grilled minced beef on a soft white bun, topped with a flame
grilled bacon steak, Emmental cheese, sliced tomatoes, iceberg lettuce
and onions. With salad and French fries on the side

The Harvester Burger
All the great taste of the above, without the bacon!

Now surely it should be:
The Harvester Burger
with ........... etc
Then
The Harvester Bacon Burger
All the great taste of the above, with a flame grilled bacon steak!

Or am I being picky?

Sorry for the crap picture I was laughing too hard to focus properly..

JokerXL says:

You're being picky.
(and the top one's probably more expensive, am I right?)
;-)
*Edit*
By about 80p I see.
Who'd have thought it?

fancy fries....
I fancy fries...
I've just had a selection of salads for dinner
Nice salads but
... no fries

picky but precise

Clicky

I'm also on the side of picky, as the whole menu has that negative aspect to it - Don't fancy Fries? I don't like that price-crossed-out-and-reduced bit either, makes it look like the five o'clock shelf in tesco that has the brown lettuce and the cracked tub of clotted cream...

Para, in fairness it was the early bird menu, where the meals are cheaper before 5, so crossing out the price I'm not to bothered about.

I just can't see how '-without the bacon!' is a selling point..

Twiglet says:

I always have the stuffed mushrooms in the Harvester. Oh and about a quarter of a ton of help yourself salad......

The salad bar is well worth it. the problem is you end up eating far too much while you are waiting for the mains :)
