Balsamic vinegar
mushroom ketchup

I've noticed mushroom ketchup in various supermarkets for a while now, I keep meaning to try it but despite my uber love of mushrooms I'm still a bit skeptical =/

10th Mar 2007, 15:41

Steve says:

It really adds a little something to sauces.

A new veggie gravy recipe; always happy to see one of those.
Truffle oil an interesting addition if you ever fancy mucking about with your mash - smells of wet dog, tastes fantastic.

10th Mar 2007, 17:50

taniwha says:

Okay, I've just made a copy of that gravy recipe

12th Mar 2007, 21:30

Helen says:

The only thing missing is red wine.

12th Mar 2007, 21:35

Steve says:

Helen is sooo right (as usual) but we didn't have any at the time. I would have used Marigold swiss vege stock too.
