yep, besides being absolutely cool and beautiful it's really functional too! ( I haven't booted back to windows for 2 weeks now, yay!)

If you have an nvidia card (since beryl seems to like them more than Ati cards, although some ati cards will work just fine), you could try sabayon linux live cd, which will probably work out of the box.
