£55 at full price, sadly :(
worth it though, considering the sheer amount of punishment I give mine. you can get cheaper versions via ebay, but a lot of them are dodgy.
This has perturbed me. On further investigation Sony want £91 if I needed to replace my Vaio power lead!
I'm sure I can find an unbranded one cheaper, but I shall be taking extra special care of it from now on!
electric sheep - you poor man. I did look on the apple site, but the delivery times made me cry inside. how do these people think we can manage? I had to get a new battery a while ago. then it got recalled. then they sent me a new one. happy days.
james - I only paid £49, but still. I don't understand how people can charge that much for what they are! I wanted to get a proper one though, as I know how dodgy they are. warranties are good. don't bend yours to hell at the plug end like me ;)
Fortunately mine is a moulded 'L' shaped plug so it's not possible to bend it!
I'm not sure if it's covered under my (extended) warranty...you can bet it's the kind of thing they try and screw you on!
there's still going to be a connection from the wire to the plug somewhere. that's the bit I seem to break so well ;)
they'll always screw people somehow, the bastards. take care of it!
my power lead for my clamshel got kicked out twice so ive brought three new power leads, they dont even make them any more so they were expencive the first two times so i decided to go for a third party one as it was hella cheeper. it serves me well. :)
