Yes, yes people I have emerged from my self realised obscurity to bestow knowledge on all headz. Used ta be out and about now strictly lying low dispensing wisdom.
Too much going down to stay quiet, now all of us have to rise up and speak truth to power.

There has to be more to us than dhal roti and Nokia phones...

Woke up to the gutting news about explosions on a
train - the "Samjhauta (Friendship) Express" going from
India to Pakistan. 60 odd peeps killed but da damage
done to the relationship between both countries could be
even more devastating. Last year I travelled to both India
and Pakistan I went to Delhi and the Wagah border where
the train was going through to go to Lahore. Shit like this
cuts me up and if it was Lashkar-e-Toiba and
Jaish-e-Mohammad - the main Islamic militant groups
who have allegedly been responsible for previous attacks
then they have been party to an atrocity where majority
of peeps were their fellow Muslims. I got links in both
countries and one day I wanted to do this journey.

Pic is from a still from a film about Mohammed Ali Jinnah,
the 'founder' of Pakistan where trainfuls of migrants
from India and Pakistan were slaughtered by rival Hindu/sikh
and Muslim groups during 1947 partition

Another tradegy befalls our people but be it the Army of the Pure or the Army of the Prophet Mohamed it all boils down what politicians want... if they want peace so shall it be and if they want war so shall it be...

It's very apt then that the definition of Politics: is "Poli" in latin meaning "many" and "tics" meaning "blood-sucking parasites."

Excuse me? only allegations? none of the previous attacks have been proved to be the work of islamists? dont hide facts for the sake of political correctness, plz. secondly, so what if most victims were 'fellow muslims'? it matters to me only that they were fellow indians. y bring religion into characterizing the victims, i wonder.

DocD says:

My friend it is too easy to point the finger just to Islamists in India - there are other sectarian and independence movements at play. My point about 'fellow muslims' is designed to show how stupid these actions were if was these groups who were responsible, not to play any religous card. You need to know me better...

Yet, my friend, I somehow dont suspect the naxals, LTTE or assam separatists are involved in these blasts. maybe that y i am a "cynic". ha, ha.

Anyway ,desiCynic and Doc D,i see that dsiferences in India came out to England too.Why not trying to find and strong your similarities instead of your diferences?yeah,i know,i´m doing cheap talking, but i think you european south asians can do a great job for the peace there, and that would be a start..Hope we basques do the same some day....
